The Matilda supports the Rope Whisperer by allowing children and very gentle people to send a small amount of pressure to the horse when they ask for a response and don’t get it from the horse.
It is a 5mm flexible plastic coated wire that ties into the Rope Whisperer and runs beneath the jaw and out the other side of the the Rope Whisperer. It is design to fit perfectly and have the lead rope run through the eyelet which is held with an aluminium swage.
Just by putting it on a has a psychological effect on the horse. Sometimes if they are being difficult and not wanting to load into the horse float, if you put your Matilda on them and then give it a little tug at the right time the horse will quickly realise that its best choice is to walk on in.
